Work with Adults
We run a number of activities for adults which helps to increase confidence, self esteem and social interaction. These include;-
A Friends Club for adults who wish to make friends perhaps due to be new to the area or those who have become socially isolated due to illness, disability or those who are elderly. We run a club at the Popley Spotlight Centre on Tuesdays between 1pm and 3 pm which is free to attend. This enables those who attend to have tea/coffee and chat or play games, go on the computers and more.
We have an English Cafe on Thursdays 10.30am - 12pm at The Popley Spotlight Centre. This is aimed at people where English is not their mother tongue and where we can offer help with filling in forms and offer a chance for them to practise their spoken English.
We run activities for adults with special needs and disabilties including art & craft on Tuesdays 10.30-12pm.
We run support groups for adults with disabilities, for foster parents, and for parents of children with special needs and disabilities.
